Το Memory/oversaturated βασίζεται στη μελέτη screenshots από feeds smartphone που παρείχαν περισσότεροι από 50 άνθρωποι. Η καλλιτέχνης προσκαλεί να γίνουμε μάρτυρες του σύγχρονου τοπίου της συλλογικής μνήμης, εμβαθύνοντας στο ψηφιακό αρχείο που ανανεώνουμε καθημερινά.

Σήμερα, τα smartphones είναι προέκταση του ανθρώπινου χεριού, διευρύνοντας νου και μνήμη σε ψηφιακούς χώρους. Η πρακτική της τεκμηρίωσης φέρει δύναμη δικαιολόγησης: αν τράβηξες μια φωτογραφία, θεωρούσες τη στιγμή άξια διατήρησης.

Η τεράστια κλίμακα καταγραφής της καθημερινότητας μέσω της κινητής φωτογραφίας αλλάζει ριζικά την κατάσταση. Η πρακτική αυτή καθορίζει τη μορφή της οπτικότητας και τον τρόπο με τον οποίο η εποχή μας θα αποτυπωθεί, μετασχηματίζοντας τις συνήθειες και τις υπάρχουσες μνήμες.

Τα screenshots αποσπώνται από το συνηθισμένο τους περιβάλλον και παρουσιάζονται ως φυσικά αντικείμενα.

Δημιουργείται για τους θεατές μια κατάσταση παρατήρησης, που επιτρέπει την αλλαγή τρόπου αντίληψης και αποκαλύπτει τον κώδικα της νεωτερικότητας.

Memory/oversaturated is based on the study of screenshots of smartphone feeds provided by more than 50 people. The artist offers to witness the contemporary landscape of collective memory by diving closer into the digital archive that we replenish every day.

Nowadays smartphones are an extension of a human hand, expanding mind and memory into digital spaces. The practice of documentation has a power of justification: if you took a photo, you considered the moment to be worth keeping.

The huge scale of capturing everyday life by mobile photography begins to radically change the situation. The practice dictates the visuality and the way our era will be imprinted, transforms our habits and existing memories.
The screenshots are separated from the usual environment and are presented as a physical object.

It creates for the viewers a peering situation, allows to switch the mode of perception and reveal the code of modernity.

Η Nadia Koldaeva (γεν. 1987, Μόσχα) είναι εικαστικός και επιμελήτρια που εργάζεται με τη φωτογραφία, την εγκατάσταση και το φωτογραφικό βιβλίο. Η πρακτική της διερευνά τη λαϊκή και ψηφιακή φωτογραφία ως μορφές συλλογικής μνήμης, εστιάζοντας στη συναισθηματική παρουσία, τη διαμεσολάβηση και την πολιτική της καθημερινής παραγωγής εικόνων. Συχνά δουλεύει με αρχεία, screenshots και ανευρεθέν υλικό, αναπτύσσοντας ερευνητικά, χωρικά προσανατολισμένα έργα.

Αποφοίτησε από την Academy of Documentary and Art Photography FOTOGRAFIKA (Λισαβόνα, 2025) και κατέχει MA στην Ιστορία της Τέχνης από το HSE University και το Garage Museum of Contemporary Art (2022). Πρόσφατες εκθέσεις της περιλαμβάνουν τις “space of absorption” στο Artbureau 1/1 (Art Space Hopping Festival, Μόσχα, 2025), “Laboratory Hours” στη Pennlab Gallery (2025) και “Photobook Dummies Exhibition” στη 14th Photobook Fair (Λισαβόνα, 2024). Συμμετείχε επίσης στο Photo Basis Printmaking Practices Laboratory στο The Vaults (GES-2, 2024–2025).

Nadia Koldaeva (b. 1987, Moscow) is an artist and curator working with photography, installation, and the photobook. Her practice explores vernacular and digital photography as forms of collective memory, focusing on emotional presence, mediation, and the politics of everyday image-making. She often works with archives, screenshots, and found imagery in research-based, spatially-oriented projects.

She graduated from the Academy of Documentary and Art Photography FOTOGRAFIKA (Lisbon, 2025) and holds an MA in Art History from HSE University and the Garage Museum of Contemporary Art (2022). Recent exhibitions include “space of absorption” at Artbureau 1/1 (Art Space Hopping Festival, Moscow, 2025), “Laboratory Hours” at Pennlab Gallery (2025), and “Photobook Dummies Exhibition” at the 14th Photobook Fair (Lisbon, 2024). She was a participant in the Photo Basis Printmaking Practices Laboratory at The Vaults (GES-2, 2024–2025).
